Spent a lovely week in Copenhagen with my boyfriend in October. I love design and architecture, he loves cuisine – and Copenhagen turned out to be a perfect combination of all these things.
Instead of getting a room in a hotel, we rented out an apartment via Airbnb. It was a lovely flat in an old house, at the top floor – and no elevator. At the end of the day climbing up those stairs felt quite nasty, but we really enjoyed our stay there. The owners of the flat spent that week in Spain so we had the whole flat all to ourselves. They had no tv in the apartment so we spent the rainy evenings listening to their LP’s and slouching on the couch. That was a nice change actually.
