Island life at Mykonos is amazing. The place might be known for its nonstop party atmosphere – but our group just went there to relax. Beaches such as Paradise and Super Paradise welcome a diverse crowd and we also visited them both.
The best way to go around the island is definitely by a scooter. Luckily my friend is a good driver – I would have been way too scared to go up and down the hills.
One of the most scenic corners of the island is Alefkántra or “Little Venice”, an 18th century district, dominated by grand captains’ mansions with colourful balconies and stylish windows. With balconies perched over the sea, pictures of the famous Italian city come to mind easily. From the restaurants and cafe’s by Little Venice one can admire the view of the famous windmills standing on the hillside above.
You can set out on a journey to discover a fascinating world where glamour meets simplicity. On Mykonos celebrities, students and even families mingle together to celebrate the Greek summer.
